What is it that makes a song “Vintage”? It can represent any number of the best bands material from decades' past. That guitar riff that is instantly recognizable, that back beat that fills the dance floor, or chorus that reminds you of memories gone by. . .
Let us take you back. Launch into the musical memories of your life.

We want to play old and new classics that bring you back or maybe send you searching. We play music to dance to first, like CCR, Cheap Trick, Blondie, Marley… but also, to just listen, or sing along with… from Smokey Robinson, to Doobie Brothers, to Dawes.

Steve Jonsson has been singing in Santa Cruz since 1974. Rocky Road played some of the best pop music in history. Steve then joined the New Wave as The Secrets. Writing and recording original songs, showcasing Bay Area venues, and opening for national touring acts, as diverse as “The Knack”, “Flock of Seagulls” and “Black Flag”. Other original projects, “Food and Logic”, and “My Mistake”, included the best local musicians of the day. In 2016, Vintage Point was born, a true synopsis of his rock musical history.
Belle Tuttle has been singing, playing, and performing publicly since middle school in
Massachusetts. Alongside singing with various ensembles at school and with friends, she grew up
playing piano and accompanied herself to perform solo on her favorite songs. Early influences
include singer songwriters like Laura Nyro, Nellie McKay, Regina Spektor, and
Marvin Gaye, as well as rock and soul groups like Tower of Power and Steely Dan. Since
moving to California, she’s performed up and down the west coast, first in college
ensembles
and then, since 2017, professionally in the Santa Cruz and Bay areas.
Jerad Fox is a seasoned guitar player from Santa Cruz, with over 25 years of experience. He brings a contemporary approach to the guitar and truly enjoys playing all types of music. He has a bachelor’s degree of guitar performance from Musicians Institute and teaches at Mountain Music School in Scotts Valley. As a founding members, Jerad's exciting guitar playing always adds intensity and dynamics to the wide range of styles that make up the Vintage Point sound. He also performs as a solo artist, fronts a power trio, and is part of “Valerie” a tribute to Amy Winehouse. He has played locally and toured nationally with James Durbin and other recording artist.
Paul Robbins started playing piano and guitar pop tunes in his earlier years. He turned his attention to Jazz and music theory to expand on his musical vocabulary. He studied Jazz music education at Cabrillo College back in the 90’s, where he performed in many Jazz combos. Over the last 30 years he has played everything from weddings to dance clubs to ambient jazz. He has played gigs at resorts on the Monterey Bay, including the Pebble Beach Lodge. His forte is solo piano improvisation with side flavors of blues, funk, rock. He has homed his classic rock chops playing keyboards in various local Santa Cruz rock bands, before joining forces with current bandmates and forming Vintage Point in early 2016.
Grant Foster is from Los Gatos, CA. He started out playing ukelele in elementary school and sang in school performances. Attending the numerous blues jams around the Bay Area and Santa Cruz has provided him with valuable experience playing with a variety of different musicians. He also engaged in drum lessons, but found that bass was his favorite instrument, and especially playing it live with a band, providing the groove, drive and energy that keeps people dancing!
Eric Gunn has a 40 year history playing drums. His ability to play for the song, has kept him busy in the Bay Area for most of that time. He has performed or recorded with Joe Lewis Walker, It’s a Beautiful Day, members of the Trailer Park Troubadours, Nora Cruz, and The Substitutes. Many bands he has played with have shared the stage with local favorites to National acts from the Ramones to Tower of Power. He knows his instrument well, having spent 25 years building drums for Johnny Craviotto. He has been a proud member of the Vintage Point ensemble since 2019.
